  • How do I become a tutor on Teacherise?

    To become a tutor, sign up at the following link https://teacherise.com/signup/ by choosing the option ‘Instructor’ and complete your profile with your qualifications and subjects you can teach once you are logged in. By default, you’ll be on a free plan with access to core features. You can upgrade your membership at any time for additional benefits.

  • We offer three membership plans:

    – Annual Plan: 6.99 π for 12 months (approx. 41% savings)

    – Quarterly Plan: 1.99 π for 3 months (approx. 33% savings)

    – Monthly Plan: 0.99 π per month

    All plans offer the same features; the difference lies in subscription duration and cost savings. The longer the plan, the more you save compared to paying monthly.

  • Upgrading boosts your profile visibility by featuring it, allows you to share contact information with students, provides access to the Live HD Classroom, and unlocks additional profile sections like your gallery and educational background.

  • As a new tutor on the free plan, you have access to core features like setting up your profile and scheduling. However, access to the Live HD Classroom is a premium feature available only to tutors on a paid membership plan. Upgrading enhances your visibility, allows you to use the Live HD Classroom, and unlocks additional features to attract more students.

  • You can set your availability through our timezone-based scheduling system. Students can then book sessions with you based on your specified times.

  • No, only students can initiate chat messages. Once a student contacts you, you can freely communicate to discuss scheduling, lesson plans, and more.

  • Setting Your Hourly Rate: You can set your own hourly rate on your profile, which students will pay when they book sessions with you.Payment Collection: Students are required to pay your hourly rate to Teacherise before entering the Live HD Classroom for the scheduled session.Receiving Payouts: After the session is completed, Teacherise processes payouts to tutors on a monthly basis, calculated based on the total lessons completed in that month.Processing Fee: A 20% processing fee is deducted from your payouts to cover payment processing and ensure secure transactions.

  • The Live HD Classroom is Teacherise’s proprietary platform that provides a high-quality, interactive space for your tutoring sessions, complete with tools like screen sharing. Access to the Live HD Classroom is a premium feature available to tutors with a paid membership plan. All sessions are automatically recorded for quality assurance purposes.

  • Sessions are recorded for quality assurance and internal purposes. Tutors do not have access to these recordings for review or distribution.

  • If you’re on a premium tutor plan (Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual), your contact details will be visible to students, facilitating easier communication.

  • Yes, you can arrange free trial sessions by agreeing upon it with the student through chat.

  • Upgrading to a premium plan highlights your profile, making it more visible to students. Ensure your profile is complete with qualifications, subjects taught, and a compelling description.
